Dr. Cini Mathew John
Dr. Cini Mathew John, RPh, PhD, is a senior scientist and research manager at the University of Calgary, where she is engaged in research with the Inflammatory Vascular Disease and Thrombosis & Haemostasis Cell Biology research groups.
She is also the Founder and Director of Research and Management at KynLiv Immunotech Inc., contributing to the development and advancement of research in immunology and related biomedical fields.
Dr. Cini holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a Master’s degree in Immunology from Universiti Putra Malaysia, along with a degree in Pharmacy from India. She subsequently completed postdoctoral training in vascular biology at the University of Calgary, supported by the Kertland and Cumming School of Medicine Postdoctoral Fellowships.
With more than 30 scientific publications to her credit, Dr. Cini has also served as an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator on FRGS research grants. Her research interests include immunotherapies, platelet biology, and inflammatory vascular diseases.
Beyond her scientific career, she is actively involved in community service. She serves as a Director of the Health & Social Research Society, volunteers with Diabetes Canada, and mentors young people participating in science fairs.
Through her work in research, academia, and community engagement, Dr. Cini Mathew John continues to contribute to scientific advancement while inspiring and supporting the next generation of researchers.
